We are very excited about the new concepts that will be presented in a two day Seminar/demonstration held on March 1 & 2 in Leeds MA. Here are the details and a few highlights of subjects that will be presented and demonstrated:
What: THIS WILL BE FUN!
 
With the help of participants, we will be working with two mystery horses for the weekend to uncover their Equinality, apply effective strategies and see if we can get these two equines closer to passing the "Pre-Ride Test"! Learn new concepts and advance your relationship with your horse! You won't want to miss the discussions and presentations INSIDE by the fire and demonstrations of the concepts on wour two mystery Equinalities in the paddock! Many new concepts will be introduced that will excel your relationship with horses! Please join us for this wonderful time to learn, share, grow and expand our imaginations. This program works dramatically on any horse; any kind, any breed and any discipline.

Here are the directions from Northampton arriving by Route 91 North:
  • Get off of Route 91 North at EXIT 19 (Northampton/Amerst)
  • GO STRAIGHT through light and straight through three more lights until road ends at "T"
  • GO RIGHT on ROUTE 9 West.
  • GO ONLY 1/2 Mile and take FIRST LEFT after SUNOCO gas station on the left.
  • GO ONE MILE up hill and down to 4 way intersection and LEEDS POST OFFICE will be on your right.
  • CONTINUE Straight through the 4 way intersection for a mile or so to a "Y"
  • GO LEFT at "Y" on to Kennedy Road
  • GO to the3rd Driveway on Right, #666 Kennedy Road. The three sixes are on a tree. You will see that there is a pasture and the barn - the house is harder to see til you get in the driveway.See flag at end of driveway.
  • GO up hill to house and Park anywhere

How:
COME AND HELP US
All participants will be welcome to come and help us to analyse the Equinality of the two mystery demonstration horses this weekend!
 
When: Saturday and Sunday, March 1st and 2nd from 9-4 each day. Please bring a lunch. Coffee and snacks will be available on site.

 

Who: Bob Sadowski will be leading the event hosted by Hampshire County Riding Club and Peace Haven Farm.

Cost: The cost is $30 per day per person.

 

Preview: TWO MYSTERY HORSES
 
1. BUSTER: 20 year old Morgan Gelding
  • Set in his ways
  • Dominant and Bossy
  • Difficult to lead on the ground
  • Hates trucks and yellow signs on the road
  • Likes to kick and dump rider by leaping up in the air
  • Seldom walks, likes to run or canter everywhere
2. FOXIE: 20 year old Arab and Quarter Horse mix paint mare
  • Nobody has yet evaluated her personality
  • Shows lack of respect on the ground
  • Very Sluggish
  • Stubborn
  • Terrible at leading

    5. Time: How to spend it with your horse. Five Minutes?

Hampshire County Riding Club News
There is a lot happening here in Western Massachusetts! Hampshire County Riding Club is at a full gallop heading into 2008! In existence since 1936 the club with its 48 acre facility, club house, trails, riding rings and country setting has a full schedule of fun planned for this year. Some happenings include:

· Progressive educational goals and objectives
· Full Monthly clinic and educational program schedule
· Social Events
· Monthly Trail Rides
· Several Horse Shows
· 4 H Shows

EDUCATION SCHEDULE 2008 (Please call Bob @ 413-634-8800)

The following schedule is presented by Hampshire County Riding Club and Peace Haven Farm HorseMindShip. Peace Haven Horsemanship will be basing its local events for 2008 at the Hampshire County Riding Club Grounds. Whenever weather will allow, the seminar, clinic, demonstration and workshop events will be held at the Hampshire County Club Facility on Ball Road, Goshen, MA 01032. In the case of poor weather, please contact Bob at 413-634-8800 for alternate location.

Jan 5-6: Overview of HorseMindShip by Bob Sadowski in Goshen. A group of about 10 horse lovers enjoyed two fun days of learning with friends through seminars presenting concepts and demos showing them. Some topics presented were an over view of HorseMindShip, Equinality types and strategies, Pre-Flight test items and more. We all feel that we are one step closer to preparing for the best Spring Season ever!

Jan 16: The HorseMindShip DVD and presentation at Meekins Library in Williamsburg MA on Wednesday, January 16 2008 from 7-8 p.m. was a very interesting and educational presentation that inspired all who attended! March 20: Mount Holyoke College Equestrian Center Arena from 7-9 p.m on a Thursday evening. Bob will be presenting a seminar and demonstration with his horse Red Cloud showing "Foundation for Horse and Human" and passing his "Pre-Ride Test". Subjects discussed will include Equinality, Relationship Building and more. You won't want to miss this exciting educational event.
